Our Commitment to Your Privacy
At GetFacade, we believe in keeping things simple and transparent. We're focused on helping you reimagine your home's exterior through AI technology. Your privacy matters to us, and we only collect what's necessary to provide you with our service.
What Information We Collect
We keep data collection to an absolute minimum:
- Email Address: We need this to create your account and communicate with you about your service
- Payment Information: Processed securely through our payment provider (we never store credit card details)
- Photos You Upload: The exterior photos you provide for design generation
- Usage Data: Basic information about how you use our service to help us improve it
That's it. We don't collect unnecessary personal information, and we don't engage in data mining or profiling.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
- Provide and maintain your GetFacade account
- Process your design requests and deliver results
- Send you important service updates and notifications
- Respond to your questions and support requests
- Improve our AI models and service quality
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Showcase our Service using anonymized versions of uploaded photos and generated designs, as described in "Your Photos and Designs" below
How We Protect Your Data
We take data protection seriously and implement the following measures:
- All data transmission is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols
- Your photos and designs are stored securely on encrypted servers
- We use trusted, established cloud providers for data storage
- Access to user data is strictly limited to team members who need it
- We regularly review and update our security practices
Your Photos and Designs
The photos you upload and the designs we generate are yours. We:
- Store them securely for your access
- Never share them publicly in a form that identifies you, and never disclose which person or building an image belongs to
- May use anonymized data to improve our AI models (with no way to trace back to you)
- Erase them from storage three days after you delete them, or after you close your account
When you delete something
Deleting a photo, a design or a whole building removes it from the app at once. For the next three days it can still be brought back, which is what the undo option uses. After three days the image is erased from storage: it cannot be recovered, by you or by anyone here, and any link that pointed to it stops working.
One thing outlives the images: the record that the work was done. It holds the date, what was produced and what it cost, never the picture itself, and it is kept so that payments, refunds and tax obligations can still be settled afterwards.
Closing your account works the same way: the request takes effect after three days, so there is time to change your mind, and then the photos, designs, estimates and albums are erased and the personal details on the account are removed.
Images can also go without you asking for it. If nobody opens the account for five months, the photos and designs kept in it are erased; if you have ever bought something from us, that becomes eighteen months, counted from your last payment or your last visit, whichever came later. We write to you a week beforehand, so there is time to come back or to save what you want to keep. The account itself is not affected: your sign-in details stay, and so does the record of what you bought.
Promotional Use of Anonymized Images
To showcase what our Service can do, we may use anonymized versions of uploaded photos and generated designs (including before and after comparisons) in our marketing and informational materials, such as our website, social media, app store listings, and advertisements. These images never include your name, address, exact location, or any other information identifying you or your building.
Where we rely on this use, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in promoting our Service with content that does not identify you. Where the law of your country requires your explicit consent for such use, we will ask for your consent before using your images and rely on that consent instead. You can opt out at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will then stop using your images in new materials; this does not affect materials already published.
Links to finished designs and albums
A finished design or album gets its own web address, so you can open it without signing in and pass it to a builder, a family member or a client. The address is long and random, and we never publish it anywhere, but it carries no password and no expiry: anyone who receives it can open that image or document. Treat such a link the way you would treat the file itself, and send it only to people you want to see the result.
API keys and AI assistants
You can issue an API key and let an AI assistant work with GetFacade on your behalf. The key belongs to your account, carries a spending limit you set, and reaches only the part of the service published for this purpose: buildings, designs, estimates and albums. It cannot change your password, your sign-in methods or your subscription.
Whatever an assistant does with a key happens inside your account and is stored exactly as described elsewhere in this policy. The assistant itself is a program you connect, not a partner of ours: what its provider does with the requests and results passing through it is governed by that provider's terms, not by this one. You can revoke a key at any time in the app, and everything created with it stays in your account.
Third-Party Services
We work with a few trusted partners to deliver our service:
- Payment Processing: Secure payment handling (we never see your card details)
- Cloud Storage: For storing your photos and designs
- Analytics: Basic usage tracking to understand how to improve our service
- Email Service: For sending you service-related communications
These partners are chosen carefully and are required to protect your data according to industry standards.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We also use analytics cookies to understand how our service is used. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings or our cookie banner.
Your Rights and Choices
You have control over your data:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we have about you
- Correction: Update any incorrect information
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Portability: Export your designs and data
- Communication: Opt out of non-essential emails

Data Retention
Photos, designs, estimates and albums stay while they are in your account. Once deleted, or once you close your account, they are erased from storage three days later.
An account nobody opens does not keep its images forever. Five months without a visit, or eighteen months if you have ever bought something, counted from your last payment or your last visit, whichever came later, and the photos, designs, estimates and albums in it are erased. A warning goes to the account's email address a week in advance, and opening the app starts the count again.
Records of payments and of the work performed are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. They contain no images.
Children's Privacy
GetFacade is not intended for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we've inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
International Users
Our servers are located in the United States. By using GetFacade, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the United States. We take appropriate measures to ensure your data is protected regardless of where it's processed.
Changes to This Policy
As we grow and improve our service, we may need to update this privacy policy. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email or through a prominent notice in the app. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when we last made changes.
